A Day At Rangemaster

Recently Elliot has had a trip to Royal Leamington Spa for a factory tour and cooking day at the factory where all of the Rangemaster Range cookers are made.

It was very Interesting to see how more than 60% of each & every cooker is being made from scratch, from the flat steel being unloaded from lorries to the hand bending panels to the final putting together on assembly line which is being done each and everyday so when they say its British made they mean it.

A little bit of history. In the front of the factory they have the first made cooker which made rangemaster what they are today, the Flavel's Kitchener which was made in 1850 which ran on coal and being the first cooker to boil, roast, bake and warm all on the same heat source.

Moving on to 1995 Rangemaster launched its first double oven range cooker, the Rangemaster 110.

In 2005 Rangemaster started to label every cooker with the Rangemaster badge like we all see today after using the two last names of Flavel & Leisure.

Over 900 Cooker are made in the Leamington spa factory each week with more than 100 people get involved in the making of each cooker.
